Centavo started as a personal project to track everyday spending without an app quietly reselling that data. That's still the whole point — it stays a straightforward, honest expense tracker.

Centavo stores the transactions, accounts, and categories you enter directly on your device, in a local database. This data is not collected by us, is not sent to any server we operate, and is not shared with any third party. We do not run analytics, tracking, or advertising of any kind inside the app.
If you choose to connect a Google account, Centavo uses the drive.appdata scope to store a single backup file in Google Drive's hidden application-data folder. This folder is not visible in your regular Drive file list and cannot be accessed by other apps.
You can delete your local data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in your device settings. To remove your Drive backup, disconnect Centavo from your Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions), which also deletes the associated app-data file.
Centavo is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
